Mark Begnaud Attends The Prison Law & Advocacy Conference

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS— Mark Begnaud of Eshman Begnaud, LLC was honored to appear on the “Strategies for Decarceration” panel for the 2022 Prison Law & Advocacy Conference hosted by Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law. Mark was asked to present Eshman Begnaud’s recent class action lawsuit and $2 million settlement arising from a mass overdetention at Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, GA. In the panel, Mark discussed how overdetention litigation is a helpful tool in reducing the amount of people in jails and prisons in America.
